Healing Ministry

In Troqueer Church we believe in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ for today. It was through seeking healing prayer for myself a number of years ago that I was called into the ordained ministry and also started my own journey into healing. In our services we regularly pray for healing with the laying on of hands and anoint with oil when we believe it is appropriate.

We have a regular monthly healing service in our Church Centre, the building adjacent to the church. At present we have this on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. It is a short service usually lasting approximately half an hour of relaxed continuous praise and within that there is the opportunity or people to receive prayer for healing or for blessing. We are always aware of God’s presence with us during these times. We also make ourselves available to pray with anyone who comes to us and in the first instance it is better to direct such requests to myself. I am grateful that in our fellowship we have a number of very committed and gifted people who give of their times often sacrificially.

It is through their help and encouragement that we continue to serve God through the enabling of the Holy Spirit.

And may all the glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ.
